Southpaw Digital Labs

Southpaw Digital Labs makes software in Alberta.

We build two apps. WellPad finds any Alberta LSD, with or without cell service. PowerSchedule builds fair schedules for rec sports leagues.

WellPad

Alberta LSD lookup for iPhone and Android.

Type a legal land description and WellPad shows exactly where it is. All 5.3 million Alberta LSDs, quarters and sections are stored on your phone, so lookups work with no cell service. When you’re ready to drive, send the spot to Google Maps or Apple Maps.

  • One tap finds the LSD you’re standing on.
  • AER wells on every lease, with UWIs, operators and status (Pro).
  • Gate codes and lease notes, with photos (Pro).

Free to download, with every feature free for 21 days. After that, WellPad Lifetime (Pro) is a one-time $39.99 CAD plus tax. There’s no subscription.

PowerSchedule

League scheduling for adult rec sports.

PowerSchedule builds a fair season schedule for your gyms, diamonds or curling sheets. Captains post scores from the bench with a four-digit PIN, and the standings update for everyone in the league.

It handles volleyball, basketball, slo-pitch and curling, each with its own rules.
